A new networking space at UTM, created with the support of Moldcell Foundation

The Faculty of Design of the Technical University of Moldova now benefits from a new networking space, created with the support of Moldcell Foundation – a functional setting designed to enable dialogue, collaboration, and connection between students, academic staff, and partners from the creative industries.

Through this initiative, Moldcell Foundation contributes to the development of educational infrastructure that encourages idea exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and stronger links between academia and the creative industries. The new space provides students with an open framework for teamwork, informal discussions, and the development of projects with practical relevance.

The networking space was introduced during an event dedicated to highlighting the tangible results of investments in education, creativity, digitalisation, and sustainability at the Faculty of Design. The event was organised in partnership with the Innovate Moldova Programme, with the support of the Embassy of Sweden and the British Embassy.

During the event, works developed by students enrolled in the Game Design and Animation study programmes were presented, alongside projects created by master’s students from the Fashion and Textile Design programme. These projects illustrated how creativity, technology, and sustainability are integrated into the educational process.

Networking Space by Moldcell complements this modern educational infrastructure by offering students an open setting for meetings, idea exchange, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Through its involvement, Moldcell Foundation continues its mission to support applied education and the development of skills relevant for the future, through initiatives that deliver tangible and long-term impact.
